TSH Biopharm (TW-8432) has been honored with both the Social Empowerment Award and the Green Leadership Award at the 2025 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA), becoming one of the few listed biopharmaceutical companies in the Asia-Pacific region to be recognized simultaneously for environmental and social initiatives. Organized by Enterprise Asia, AREA is one of the most prestigious international recognitions in the ESG field.
The two award-winning projects — the Formosan Wildcat Co-Farming Project and the Mobile Supply Vehicle Project — not only demonstrate the company’s proactive commitment to corporate social responsibility but also embody TSH Biopharm’s corporate mission of “People-Centered: From Land to Health.”
TSH Biopharm has long been dedicated to the fields of chronic disease management and elderly care, with Taiwan’s rapidly growing senior population as its main service focus. In recent years, the company has expanded beyond its core expertise in “treatment,” actively advancing upstream to prevention, lifestyle support, and social care — building a more comprehensive health industry responsibility chain.
This achievement is also attributed to the forward-looking planning and steadfast support of the Board of Directors. On August 4, 2022, TSH Biopharm officially established the Sustainable Development Committee, guided at the board level to chart the company’s sustainability governance blueprint, embedding ESG principles deeply into corporate decision-making and culture.
Guided by this positioning, TSH Biopharm launched the Formosan Wildcat Co-Farming Project and the Mobile Supply Vehicle Project. The former integrates pesticide-free contract farming with habitat conservation to safeguard human health through food safety. The latter reaches rural communities, helping seniors regain autonomy and dignity in their daily lives. From farmland to the dining table, from medicine to the human spirit, TSH Biopharm roots itself in its core business and aligns with sustainability to deliver health values that are both heartfelt and action-oriented.
TSH Biopharm’s General Manager, Shih-Yuan Yang, stated:
“We have always believed that a company’s value is not only in excelling at its core business, but also in how it empowers and cares for people. The Formosan Wildcat Co-Farming and Mobile Supply Vehicle projects are concrete examples of extending our core philosophy into social and environmental spheres. What we deliver is not only medicine, but also a commitment to safeguarding health and dignity.”
Looking ahead, TSH Biopharm will continue to drive the health industry from pharmaceutical treatment toward holistic care, taking concrete actions to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to health and well-being, environmental conservation, and social equality. By connecting the company’s internal momentum with the collective efforts of society, TSH Biopharm aspires to create a sustainable ecosystem where people and the land thrive together, and where health and dignity coexist.
