Taiwan’s benchmark biopharmaceutical company, TSH Biopharm Co., Ltd. (TW-8432), has once again achieved stellar results on the global sustainability stage. Organized by Enterprise Asia and widely recognized as the "ESG Oscars of Asia," the results for the 2026 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) were recently announced. TSH Biopharm earned the "Corporate Governance" award for the first time, credited to its rigorous operational transparency and robust decision-making. Simultaneously, driven by the remarkable outcomes of its long-standing initiatives in rural community care and biodiversity conservation, the company secured the "Social Empowerment" award for the second consecutive year, demonstrating its success in deeply embedding ESG principles into its core corporate DNA.
Modern investors assess corporate value not solely by financial indicators, but increasingly through governance resilience. The key to TSH Biopharm securing the "Corporate Governance" award lies in the efficient oversight of its Board of Directors and Sustainability Committee—underpinned by highly transparent disclosures, stringent risk management frameworks, and proactive protection of stakeholder rights. This international honor not only reinforces market and shareholder confidence in the company’s long-term trajectory, but also sets a new standard for ethical governance and integrity within the biopharmaceutical industry.
Alongside its governance milestones, TSH Biopharm clinched the "Social Empowerment" award for two consecutive years by intertwining environmental stewardship with social inclusivity. In May this year, General Manager Szu-Yuan Yang personally led a team to the contract farming fields in Fengshuwo, Miaoli, to erect "raptor perches." This project harnesses the natural ecological food chain—utilizing birds of prey such as the black-winged kite—to help local farmers achieve eco-friendly, chemical-free rodent control.
Remarkably, this long-term ecological co-farming initiative has delivered verifiable results. Latest ecological monitoring data indicates a significant increase in both the population activity and sighting frequency of the protected leopard cat across these contract fields. Supported by tangible data, TSH Biopharm proves that corporate social responsibility initiatives can protect local farming livelihoods while delivering substantial contributions to Taiwan’s biodiversity restoration, forming the bedrock for its consecutive international win.
TSH Biopharm stated that receiving dual international honors at AREA reflects the concerted dedication of all employees and strategic partners. Moving forward, the company will continue to uphold a human-centric ethos, accelerate the rollout of innovative "Total Solution" product portfolios, practice social and environmental stewardship, and transform sustainable governance into a core competitive advantage—striving to become the premier strategic partner for pharmaceutical development and commercialization in Asia.
