Despite heavy mid-October rain, TSH Biopharm volunteers arrived at the Beitou Service Center of the Old Five Old Foundation to spend an afternoon filled with comforting aromas and genuine laughter alongside senior friends.
🌾 Handcrafted Leopard Cat Rice Soap DIY:
The elders mixed rice powder, customized their favorite fragrances, and carefully poured the mixture into molds. Every single bar radiated a natural rice aroma and a profound sense of accomplishment. This delicate crafting process was more than just creating a finished product—it served as a beneficial rehabilitation exercise to enhance fine motor skills and hand dexterity.
🍙 Shake-and-Roll Rice Ball DIY:
Next came the playful Shake-and-Roll Rice Ball DIY! Supported by our volunteers, the seniors joyfully shook their containers to shape adorable, rounded rice balls. Garnished with fragrant peanut powder, each little rice ball was infused with boundless smiles and shared delight.

Between activities, partners from the Old Five Old Foundation led everyone through gentle stretching and mobility exercises, allowing cheerful laughter to resonate through the sound of the rain.
