2025 Social Inclusion and Impact

1. Our Commitment and Scope

Community Definition and Assessment

TSH Biopharm deeply recognizes the importance of corporate and societal coexistence and co-prosperity. Guided by rigorous risk assessments in "Upstream Supply Chain Management" and "Lifelong Healthcare," our community engagement extends beyond the vicinity of our corporate headquarters in Taipei. We actively project our positive influence into environmentally sensitive habitats (the leopard cat corridors in Miaoli) as well as areas with vulnerable social demographics (the Old Five Old Foundation service stations across Shiding in New Taipei, Taichung, and Hsinchu). We are steadfast in transforming corporate business resources into tangible solutions for biodiversity conservation and population aging.

2. Key Initiatives

Initiative 1: Ecological Stewardship — Biodiversity from Farm to Table

  • Risks & Opportunities: Facing the compounding risks of climate change and habitat fragmentation, we identify biodiversity conservation as a cornerstone of our environmental responsibility.

  • Actions Taken: By adopting ecological conversion metrics, we procure sustainably farmed "Leopard Cat Rice." Supporting pesticide-free and chemical-free agriculture secures safe foraging grounds for the endangered leopard cat and preserves vital soil carbon sinks—effectively transforming everyday supply chain procurement into an active ecosystem restoration initiative.

Initiative 2: Senior Care — Economic Inclusion and Intergenerational Bonding

  • Risks & Opportunities: In response to the demographic challenges of Taiwan’s rapidly aging society, we address the pressing need for economic independence and psychological well-being among the elderly.

  • Actions Taken:

    • Economic Support: We procure handmade artisan biscuits and charity gift boxes crafted by seniors, empowering them to demonstrate productivity and reclaim social dignity.

    • Volunteer Engagement: Led by our General Manager, employees visit rural community stations to celebrate World Food Day and participate in intergenerational interactions, reinforcing local social safety nets.

Initiative 3: Professional Health Education — Preventive Medicine and Health Literacy

  • Risks & Opportunities: Addressing the prevalent risk of chronic "Three Highs" conditions, we leverage our core pharmaceutical capabilities to bridge healthcare information disparities across local communities.

  • Actions Taken: We host the "Cardiovascular Healthcare" public welfare seminar series, inviting medical specialists to engage directly with communities to instill proactive disease prevention concepts and alleviate the long-term burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) on public healthcare resources.
